New records of pteridophytes in Mount Matutum Protected Landscape, South Central Mindanao, Philippines with notes on its economic value and conservation status

چکیده
New records on distribution of pteridophytes in Mount Matutum Protected Landscape were documented. The species list was accounted with reference to specimen collections from various herbaria posted digital databases and reliable literature pteridophyte flora. Results further showed 105 new for MMPL its vicinity-South Cotabato, Sarangani province General Santos City. From these, seven South Central Mindanao Region (Region 12). About 19 families, 56 genera represented – 41 epiphytes, 10 lithophytes, 45 soil inhabitants, the rest dual habits two (ground lithophytic); (epiphytic lithophytic). Moreover, 11 found be threatened based national while local conservation assessment relative frequency noted 91 species. A plan these valuable protected landscape is also proposed ensure sound intervention sustainable environment this plant group.
